Data Optics Offers New Miniature
Fiber-Coupled Spectrometers

YPSILANTI, MI, May 15 -- Data Optics, Inc. has announced the immediate availability of the JETI family of fiber-coupled, miniature spectrometers and accessories. According to the company, these new spectrometers are PC-coupled and supported by user-friendly PC software. Features include resolution of 9 nm (or optionally, 6 nm) in the visible region, stray light <10-4, and high dynamic range and sensitivity. Options include UV models, internal light source, dip probe, reflection measuring head, external test cell/filter measurement head, and color measuring device.

"These are great, state-of-the-art products, with holographic gratings and photodiode line array detectors, that can be set by the user quickly and easily to perform useful functions of monitoring or measuring light," said David M. Shindell, president of Data Optics, Inc..
