CR Technology Doubles Facility Size

ALISO VIEJO, CA, Oct. 26 -- CR Technology, a supplier of advanced vision and x-ray inspection systems, has announced that it is relocating to a larger facility to accommodate recent business growth. The new building doubles the company's previous capacity, allowing for an increase in production space needed to meet customer demand. The impetus for the move came from the company's doubling of sales within the last year.

"We have experienced a twofold increase in sales volume and are aggressively expanding our market share," said Richard Amtower, president of CR Technology. "Our new, larger offices will allow us to grow as we expand our product offering to the electronics industry."

According to CR Technology, the new 20,000-square-foot facility will enable the company to increase production volume of its advanced vision and x-ray systems while achieving higher efficiency and faster throughput. The company also plans to continue as a leader in the automated-inspection industry by devoting more space to R&D, conducting technical seminars, and facilitating customer visits. Plans include expanding the facility to 26,000 square feet by 2000.

Over the next several months, CR Technology will be hiring design engineers, international and domestic customer-service representatives and managers, marketing assistants, business system analysts, programmers, and office-support associates. Their responsibilities will include managing new business, coordinating sales efforts, and designing leading-edge inspection equipment.
