The I-60 accepts non-standard video inputs up to 60 MHz pixel input rates, including the new high-resolution, high-speed machine vision cameras and 1,024 x 1,024 cardiac-imaging inputs. Foresight Imaging says that this high-speed input capability combined with the I-Series' high-performance video streaming enables new high-resolution and medical-imaging applications. "Our customers in cardiology and high-resolution machine vision have requested even higher pixel rates to accommodate today's growing need for better inspection and medical diagnosis," said Tony Molinari, vice president, marketing and business development for Foresight Imaging. "The I-60 delivers for these demanding customers." The I-25 MV, I-50 MV, and I-160 MV have maximum pixel-input rates of 25 MHz, 50 MHz, and 60 MHz respectively. According to Foresight Imaging, features include extensive machine-vision and camera I/O controls including trigger input/output, strobe interface, camera exposure control, camera power, general-purpose digital I/Os, H and V synch output, and more. Machine vision is software configurable on these models, allowing the user to configure the frame grabber to directly connect to various machine-vision cameras using a single I-Series cable. I-Series frame grabbers are supported by Auto-SYNC, Foresight Imaging's automatic configuration software. The I-60 is available immediately and is priced at $1,495 (U.S.) The I-25 MV, I-50 MV, and I-60 MV are scheduled for production shipments in January 2000; pricing starts at $1,195. PTB Home |
