PTB >> New Products - July 2010
The solution is based on a “smart” contact lens that uses a tiny embedded strain gauge to monitor the curvature of the eye over a period of 24 hours, providing disease management data that is not obtainable using conventional ophthalmic equipment. The lens also contains an antenna, a tiny dedicated processing circuit, and an RF transmitter that communicate the measurements to a receiver worn around the patient's neck. Because it is powered via the received radio waves, it does not need to be connected to a battery. Each CCD captures a 1280 (H) x 960 (V) pixels field of view, and each CCD has independent exposure and gain settings, making it suitable for FRET and ratio imaging applications. One of the CCDs is adjustable via software to compensate for vertical, horizontal, and Z-axis registration. Each optical block can be adjusted for multiple objective choices as well. When the optical block is inserted into the camera, the position of the moveable CCD is automatically adjusted for the optical setup. It also features high sensitivity and low noise, vacuum-sealed chamber technology, and wide dynamic range. An IEEE1394b interface, 12-bit A/D converter, and various external trigger modes are also included. For Free Info Visit http://info.hotims.com/28055-210
Features include spectral line width of down to <0.1nm and an integrated thermoelectric cooler. The internal state of the laser can also be monitored by the user via a USB port. Applications include raman spectroscopy, interferometry, holography, and wafer inspection. For Free Info Visit http://info.hotims.com/28055-211 Purified Steam Generator It features additional control loop for the heated steam process line between the Steamer and the tool, integrated flow meter, reduced footprint and simplified installation with the addition of an internal three-way valve, and improved tracking of flow rate and energy use with an updated user interface. The Steamer ’02 allows the use of de-ionized water for critical processes by removing volatiles, ionic contaminants, and other impurities from steam. The RIP1-NJAC APD photoreceiver integrates the lowexcess- noise SCM-APD with a low-noise transimpedance amplifier (TIA). It offers a maximum responsivity over 50 A/W at 1550 nm, with operating gain up to 50. A single-stage thermoelectric cooler is included to eliminate temperature-induced gain variation. An optional fiber pigtail is available. For Free Info Visit http://info.hotims.com/28055-215 Logarithmic Sensor In most logarithmic imager designs, linear photo current passes through a MOS transistor whose exponential characteristic transforms photo current into a logarithmic-like voltage output signal. In NIT’s MAGIC approach, the array of photodiodes is operated in photovoltaic mode and the open-circuit voltage across the p/n junction is proportional to the exact and pure logarithmic value of the incident light intensity. When equipped with the sensor, the MCD1-10-BW analog camera modules provide dynamic range performance greater than 120 dB. For Free Info Visit http://info.hotims.com/28055-216 EBTN LCDs The LCDs offer a contrast ratio of 300 to 1, and are RoHS compliant. They are available in sizes ranging from 1.0 in2 to 5 in2. Sharp, crisp negative images can be displayed using any color backlight. For Free Info Visit http://info.hotims.com/28055-217
