Imaging Technology Appoints New | |||||||
|
BEDFORD, MA, Apr. 12 -- Imaging Technology Inc. (ITI), a developer of machine vision tools for OEMs, has appointed Steve Geraghty to the position of Vice President of Engineering. In this role, Geraghty will be responsible for managing all ITI hardware and software development. This work will include high-performance frame grabbers and further refinements of the SmART Search pattern-recognition tool. Geraghty will also oversee development of NetSight embedded vision subsystems designed to integrate robust machine vision tools with Windows CE, onboard MMX-accelerated processing, remote networking, artificial intelligence, and industry-standard development tools. Since his arrival at ITI in 1989, Geraghty has served in a number of positions. He most recently moved from Director of Hardware Engineering to Director of Engineering, becoming responsible for all engineering activities at ITI. Prior to joining ITI, Geraghty co-founded at full-service commercial security systems company, developed high-end imaging workstations for AGFA Corporation, and spent several years in the oil-refining business, working for such companies as Mobil Oil, UK. Geraghty holds a BSEE from Boston University and is a member of the IEEE. PTB Home |
