Lambda Physik Offers Multigas Versions for COMPex and LPX Excimer Lasers

Lambda Physik has announced the availability of COMPex lasers and the LPX 200 laser series with a multigas version. According to the company, the multigas excimer laser provides customers the flexibility of selecting any of the four wavelengths (193nm, 248nm, 308nm, and 351nm) while using the same laser tube. The result, says Lambda, is one optimized multigas system instead of separate optimized versions for chlorine and fluorine. Lambda Physik's NovaTube technology is designed to enable the use of multiple gases such as fluorine or chlorine with no laser-tube exchange or loss in specifications. The company says that NovaTube's metal/ceramic design virtually eliminates component corrosion and gas contamination while increasing gas life and extending maintenance intervals. PTB Home
